What are the costs associated with EquineGoldmine.com? This is a free service and we will never ask you for any financial information unless you would like to upgrade your free services.

How does it work? A viewer to the site can browse classifieds listed by others in all the categories, search for a narrowed listing, see ads posted by day, see most recent ads and view the most popular ads. Get in contact with sellers who choose to leave contact information.

How do I post an ad? In order to post an ad a viewer has to create an account first. The creation of the account is nothing more than Name Address City State Zip Phone and email, along with selecting a username and password. Once a viewer flags their account as a private user or dealer the system sends a validation number to the viewers email address to make sure the email address is working correctly. Once that validation number is inputted into the system the viewer becomes a member.

What does a private user get? A private user gets the ability to post up to five classified ads at any given time. There cannot be more than five ads running under this account concurrently. If this person would like to post more than five they have to delete one of their ads to get under the five free or upgrade their free account to a Power Account.

What is a Power Account? A power account is for a member that does not qualify as a dealer but wants to have more than five positions this fee is currently $50.00 per month for this service. Members can upgrade there account by clicking on UPGRADE when viewing their My Account link. This service has to be prepaid online via credit card.

What is a dealer? A dealer account is for those individuals who will be using the site as someone who is looking to buy and sell items for making a profit and not just the casual seller. When a viewer sets up their account as a Dealer they are automatically given a free trial month for the highest level 3 dealer package. After the month expires they will have to make a determination as to what level suits their needs to continue using the service.

What levels do you offer dealers? Dealers can select from three different levels. Level 1, 2 or 3. A level 1 dealer gets one ad position for $25.00 for the month. A level 2 dealer gets ten ad positions for $100.00 for the month. A level 3 dealer gets 50 ad positions for $250.00 for the month. Ad positions are used instead of ads, as a dealer can deleted an ad and post a new one in that same position as many times as they want within that month span.

How do you post an ad? Posting an ad is easy and starts with the member selecting Post Ad. There the member will see fields that have to be filled out.

How do I post a picture with my ad? When asked during the posting process to Browse your system for a file, you will be able to upload a JPG file to the system. If you have problems with getting a picture up online you can post the ad without the photo and try to EDIT it later and get the photo in during the EDIT process. There is a time-out period when the server is trying to upload the image during the posting process. If your image is large and your internet connection is slow you may experience the photo not going up online, if you post the ad without the photo and later edit the ad to put the same picture you will notice that there is no time-out period during the editing process. If you still have problems with the photo you can always email us the file as an attachment, along with the ad number and we will get that on for you.

What if I don't have a digital file for my picture? You can post an ad without a file or if you have a photo and need it to be scanned into an electronic file we do offer scanning services. Our fee is $20.00 and if you would like the image back you need to send it in a self addressed stamped envelope, so that we may mail it back to you. What kinds of items can I post to the site? If it's Equine related you can post it here. The one rule we have is that the classified ad has to be a product specific oriented ad. You may as a dealer sell a new item if that ad only promotes that individual piece. You cannot list a product line or a generic business ad. What are upgrades you can put with your ad? There are 3 upgrades that a member can add to their posting. A Featured Ad, A Premiere Ad and a Gallery Ad.

What is a Featured Ad? A Featured Ad is one that gets placed on the front page of EquineGoldmine.com with a photo in rotation among all the other Featured Ads. It is also located in the front of the category that was selected during posting in rotation among all the other Featured Ads in that category. This cost to upgrade your ad to a Featured Ad is $25.00 per week. Featured Ads also appear on the site in various locations to the right hand side of Classifieds listings.

What is a Premiere Ad? A Premiere Ad highlights the ad with a yellow border box around it to make it stand out. This cost to upgrade is $20.00 for the life of the classified as stated during the posting process when a duration was selected.

What is a Gallery Ad? A Gallery Ad is an ad that allows you to post more than one photo on your posting. This allows you to post up to 10 more pictures to your ad giving you greater exposure and less time spent sending photos to prospective buyers.

What happens when my ad expires? Once your ad expires from the specified duration it will move over to your Expired Ads page. There you will be able to have that ad automatically re posted for one month for a charge of $10.00. If you wish to forego this cost you can bypass this automatic option and click on Post Ad and recreate the ad once again using one of your positions on the site. providing you have one available.

What other re posting options do you have? At any time when you ad is live you can upgrade your ad and have it re posted automatically. This resets the date and moves your ad back to the top of the category. This fee is $10.00 for the month and can be done as many times as you would like. During the posting process you can have your ad automatically be posted each day or once a week if you choose. The daily cost for the automatic service is $250.00 per month and the weekly cost is $100.00 for the month.

How do I contact people who are selling items I want? Under each ad you will notice the available contact information that the seller wants shown on the web. If there is no other contact information other than the Send Message To Seller link, then once you click that you as a member can send a message to that person getting the communication process started. If a viewer clicks on that link then they will be prompted to login with their membership information or to sign up to become a member.

How can I keep track of ads that I want to look at later? A member can collect ads and refer back to them later by adding it to their Favorites by clicking Add To Favorites above the ad. The Favorite will only be shown by clicking on My Favorites, when you can delete them at any time. If the ad is removed and you click on it at a later date, you will not be able to see it, as the seller may not have the item anymore.

How can I see what the member might be selling other than the one I am looking at? There is a link that will allow you to see what the seller of an item may also be selling by clicking on View Members Other Ads. This will show you a listing of all the items this person has, providing they have something else listed on the site.

What is an Honor Payment? EquineGoldmine.com is run under the Honor System. Under this Honor System you pay EquineGoldmine.com a small commission if our web site leads to a sale of your item. Suggested commission amounts are listed as follows $0 - $4,999 = $20.00, $5,000 - $9,999 = $50.00, Over $10,000 = 1% of the sale price.
